Why a Parent Conference?

Parenting is one of the most significant callings God gives—and one of the most challenging. Whether you’re raising babies, navigating the teenage years, or walking with adult children, the responsibility of shaping faith never goes away.

God calls His people to tell the next generation about His works and faithfulness—so that they would put their confidence in Him and continue the story of faith (Psalm 78:1–7).

Breakout Sessions

Choose from a wide range of breakout sessions designed to meet parents where they are—addressing faith formation, cultural pressures, mental health, technology, family rhythms, and gospel-centered discipleship in the home.

• Sports and Faith in Today’s Culture
  How can we as parents help our students live out their faith while playing sports? How do we as parents model for them our faith when today’s sports culture squeezes us? Does the Bible really expect us to live out our faith as athletes and fans? • Growing in Marriage as the Kids are Growing
  The demands of parenting—from school and sports to work deadlines—can make it difficult to prioritize your marriage. You are not alone if you can find it challenging to connect with your spouse during these busy years. In this session, “Growing in your Marriage while the Kids are Growing,” we will discuss the importance of continuing to invest in your marriage connection and share practical ways to maintain a healthy marriage while navigating the busy years of parenting. -Chase and Jess Acuña, Standing Stone Ministries
• Tools for Tough Days: Helping Your Child Through Depression and Anxiety
  In this session, parents will learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of anxiety and depression in children and teens and better understand what their child may be experiencing. Participants will gain practical, easy-to-use coping tools they can reinforce at home, along with effective communication strategies that build trust and strengthen connection. • Parenting Adult Children
  If you’re a parent, you know the journey doesn’t end at eighteen. In many ways, parenting adult children can feel more complex than ever. • Sex: 100 One-Minute Conversations (Not One 100-Minute Talk)
  Sex is one way our body tells God’s story in and through his people. Parents will learn how to impart to their children the wondrous story of life-giving sexuality God designed.   You want to lead your kids spiritually, but cultural pressure and busy schedules can make it feel overwhelming. But it doesn’t have to be complicated.
